Does anyone else have an old xr75 out there? These bikes are tough and a blast to ride. I've been having this one for just over 30 years!!! It sat for over 20 years in the garage completely neglected but protected from the elements. I just reciently got it running again with new points, coil and fuel petcock. Also did a ring job on it. It runs like new and is looking pretty good after a good cleaning.

I've got a beater 77, a KSI Marty Moates replica project (YZ60 mono chassis), and a bunch of 75/80/100 motors. I love the upright little buggers.

Here's my 1976 XR75 I'm working on right now. Giving it that vintage racer look. Motor is the last thing to get rebuilt. Putting in a Powroll 80cc kit and adding a DG repop pipe.

Here is my 1978 xr. It was an xmas gift in 1977. All stock and almost 100% original parts (new tires, rings, exhaust pipe, carbuerator and fuel petcock).

Very nice bike. Looks brand new. I am tempted by powroll after market parts as well. Just can't seem to get myself to mess with such an old stocker in good shape. I doubt it has over 200 hours on it. I will most likely track down another xr to do the modfications on. I will most likely look for a 73-75 model. Good luck with your project!!!

Here's another old pic. This was taken on xmas day 1977. I just saw the bike for the first time. You can see my old 1972 Z50 Mini Trail in the background. This is the same bike I have today (see pics in this thread).
