What type of paint are you using? Just curious as I'm about ready to paint my bike as well.

If spray painting i would recomend painting with pj1 epoxy paint. It gave a good looking finish and is more durable than anyother spraypaint I have used. No matter what paint you use don't overlook the prep it as important as the actuall paint I would sandblast the frame down to bare metal and make shure the frame is clean and dry before painting.

ya I'm going to pull my motor tommorow and start sanding my frame. I figure I might as well since I have to pull the motor anyways to put my zonger in. I already painted my rims flat black, I think I'm going to paint my fenders flat black also and my frame is going to be a ct blue.

I've been painting random bits on my CT70.. back to bare metal then primer , lots of coats of paint (belton) and then heaps of coats of clear coat (belton)

gotta have clear coats , really makes the job 100% better.

I got heaps of paint when i went out..
  • 1x Matt jet black
  • 1x Primer
  • 2x Clear
  • 1x Racing White
  • 1x Medium Gray
  • 1x High Temp Alloy Silver
  • 1x High Temp matt Black
  • 2x Metalic Red

I got so much paint coming out of my ears.. Run outta primer one of my clears and i've only done the front and rear rims, headlight and speedo. Have to wait for my weather to clear up before i do any more painting..
