| painting the frame and swinger/forks
does anyone have any pics of z50s with black frames im going to paint the swinger and upper forks and frame... any tips on the painting how many coats clear and primer and color coat? should i sand down the white?? i want it to be good and slast long

my friend just cleaned parts and painted with spray cans of black bedliner turned out good paint is hard to chip

The ealy Z50 softtails had black frame and swingarm, powdercoated. Get the black bedliner, it sounds hardy. I would put a few 3-4 coats of that, and 3 coats of clear. |

I had mine sand blasted and powder coated black had the wheels done in silver turned out really nice.

white plastics and blue frame look sweet, that's the color scheme i went with and i love it. I used a good automotive primer and clear coat, but did the actual color with some puff cans from O'Reilly's, it's held up awesom so far here's a pic http://members.cox.net/wantedman/complete1 |
