Fiddy of the Month

Nice find.
The headlight bucket & rear tail light can get expensive to find.
How is the inside of the tank?

how much did you pay for that rare jem? You should look into dropping a 50 or 110 copy engine.

KEEP IT HONDA! Nice K1. Its an early one. Can tell by the petcock on the tank and can't see the I.D. tag well but is it silver w/ black letters and blank vin #? If so you got what they call a Silver Tag. Early K1 production. It would have come with black plastic levers on the bars and that KO petcock.

Yea, nothing but Honda/ aftermarket/ custom will touch this frame. I'll have to check the tag. I didn't have a lot of time to dig into it and look at it today. I got it for $200 which I've been told is a pretty good deal. Plus I've been wanting one for a long time.

Yep, silver tag, black letters, and no vin on tag.

Is there no vin then or where is it located?

It's on the left rear stamped into the frame by where the wheel mounts.

Remove the petcock and sell it on ebay. The Z50M and Z50 K0 guys will pay good $$ for it and for your build, it's not important since you are restomodding.

Re: part of the club (z50 project)

very nice!!! i have been wanting a hardtail instead of the K3 soft i'm working with now.., not sire why but my friend has one that's jsut rotting away (with the vin onteh rear of the frame as well ) and i've wanted it sinve i met him, but he knows the calue and wont come off it for anything...can't wait to see the build come together

P.S...we need mnore/better smilies on here to show excitement and thigns liek that.. i use them a lto on other boards and jsut dont' feel i can express myself proper;y without a wide range of them
