Question about BBK cylinder and performance manifold

I was wondering if the 88cc kit cylinders from trailbikes or dratv are marked as 88cc. I know they have the cheater cylinder thats 85cc but thats not what I want.

Also, I have a takegawa A9 manifold (looks sweet) with an 18mm opening at the head and carb. Would there be a problem running it on a stock xr50 head that measures 10mm at the head? Do the trailbikes manifold match the opening to the stock head?

Thanks for the info.

The TB cylinder has no displacement marking. It has the TB logo where the displacement marking would usually go on a stock cylinder. I don't really understand your question about the manifold and head.

Re: Question about BBK cylinder and performance manifold

DrATV jugs used to be marked 49cc on the aluminum 52mm jugs, but it seems they've switched suppliers. At least one of their ads still states it's marked 49cc. Might have been DRP? Gotta go to Europe for the alloy cheaters, I think. I have one slightly worn on that's getting bored to 52.4mm to use an import height piston with a short-rod Tak crank. 49, 107, whatever it takes

TB manifold for a stock head will match a stock head...

What I mean is the Takegawa manifold opening is 18mm at the head and the xr50 head intake port measures 10mm (i think). Is there a problem running that manifold if the diameters dont match?

Head should be 13mm, and YES it will run like crap. Get the TB manifold for the stock head, or ditch that slug of a head and make some power
