Quick lunch run vid from Sunday and new paint for the APE

So i was working on the Ape paint on Sunday at Gregs and we decided to take a break and grab a bite. I had the Go Pro with me so i said why not shoot some vid. The vids pretty short but i hope you like it.

YouTube - June lunch ride

the pic of the tank was from yesterday pretty much just as the clear was settling. I did some sanding and hope to have it all polished out by tomorrow or Wednesday.

Re: Quick lunch rin vid from Sunday.

Nice! Looks like you have the camera mounted on the steering head or thereabouts? Seems to work well there.

What are you doing for the microphone?

I am liking the results of the GoPro unit.

Its just the internal mic on the GoPro. The do pretty poor audio if you ask me.

The mount is just a piece of flat bar that I bent at a 90 and attached to the headlight bracket where it meets the forks. GoPro setups come with these sticky clip mounts and i didnt want to really stick it directly on to my bike anywhere cause it would have to stay on there. Ide rather have a bracket that i can unbolt then some sticky film from a plastic camera mount.

Hard to beat for form factor, value, and ease of operation. I am really impressed with that little unit for the $.

Brad, I'm really anxious to see that tank finished. I really like the color!!!

Same here, my plans to continue on to the next stages of wet sanding got derailed last night by a dinner and a movie. TV is evil.

Both songs were performed by Byron Lee and the Dragonaires. Not sure if they wrote the songs as i have heard many other artists perform them over the years.

Re: Quick lunch run vid from Sunday.

i was just curious, when i ride i have the urge to pass people and mainly probably drive like a maniac. they are nice bike and i have admittedly talked about my bikes real speed not that fast. hell it doesn't move now unless you push it. that will be fixed soome thanks to terry.

Pete, I am embarrassed to admit how much video I have of Brad and Jokerio checking out on me while on his Ape, me on my ZB! Way too much footage

CJJ, My apologies, I shouldn't expect you to know the local riders in our neck of the woods. If you did you would get a chuckle out of your post, thats all.
