Why don't you think that pipe will fit on a GPX124 engine? The exhaust flange for 99.999% of the pipes on the market will fit the exhaust port opening of 99.999% of the engines out there, Honda or Chinese...

My Mood: | Re: R&L Exhaust wont fit Gpx 124 What i meant was it wont fit meaning the clamp and hanger(Where it attaches to the bike) not at the exhaust port I read a thread on here saying as much but now i cant find it .I ordered the exhaust yesterday so this is not first hand . I forgot to put a question mark at the end. I wanted to know for sure before i buy a 124 motor to go with it.

It's usually just a matter of fabricating a mounting bracket out of flat stock steel, that you can bolt to the silencer bracket and then to the frame mounting hole. Mount the pipe on your bike, and then use some ingenuity to make up a bracket to suit your needs.

The stock Honda cylinder is 63mm tall, and some of the Chinese engine cylinders will be anywhere from 69 to 78mm tall. Measure the cylinder on your 70 clone engine; it may very well be 63mm too. The offset at the frame mounting hole may be 6 to 15mm forward, it depends on what engine you have. |
