Hardtail bobber Z build

I was going to wait until it was finished but seeing as things are taking a bit longer than expected i am going to post some pictures now and update it as it gets closer to being finished. SO FAR i have taken an old hardtail that some of you might remember in my thread asking what year it was, and i have done a little work to it. i dropped a 05 CRF cdi motor into it that i built, 88 kit race cam/20mm carb, i shaved the mounting brakets on the tank for badges, added a jockey shift which i curved and made the walnut shifter on a lathe. i also painted the stock rims black rockguard and put some SAVA white walls on. OH and the bike is street legal here in Canada. with the 8" rims. i had to pull a few strings though. i am adding a 3inch springer seat to it that should be here pretty soon and i will add more pics. thanks for looking!

Re: Rat/bobber z build sneak peak

OK so heres the pictures as promised! i got the clamp installed and started to install the springer seat. i got the rear mounts mounted and will have to work on something for the front anyways you get the idea. i sat on the seat however and it gives you a fair bit of "BOB" which is nice on the hardtail! i also shortened the jocket shift as it was way to long and got in the way before, will keep it updated. thanks for the comments!

Re: Rat/bobber z build sneak peak

Good start. I'm not a fan of the rat rod flat black and white theme normally, but it looks good on Zs for some reason. Nice job.
