Removing sprocket studs from rear drum hub

I am trying to remove the 3 studs that hold on the sprocket from a honda monkey rear drum hub.
Are these studs pressed in or screwed in?
I need to screw in extended studs for a sprocket spacer, but I am having trouble removing the studs.
I tried using two locknuts tightened against each other but they just end up threading off. Has anyone successful removed these?

Had to do the same thing with my Monkey. They are screwed in with thread lock. You will need to add some heat to the hub...

Thanks! Those were in tight, I put the lug in a vice with a "wheel half" on the hub for leverage. It worked good.
Thanks for the help!!!!!

Re: Removing sprocket studs from rear drum hub

another easy way you run to nuts together on it an back the bottom one (closer to the hub) of an it will be just like unscrewing it. Also if you add to much heat it will brittle the piece.
