Been swapping a few things around and the 95cc motor came out to go into the hardtail so, the 137 is still in the Chaly so it was time to put the 124+r into the monkey. I think it will be staying in there. I tried Yosh Type 8 exhaust on the bike and it just didnt look right so i went back to the Type5 just fits the lines of the bike better. ![]() ![]() |

needs some jetting but yes, running. Did one shot up the hill on the back wheel and put it away. Here is a short clip for others that havent heard the motor. The carb thats on there is still tuned to my 95 motor so yes, I know its not that smooth sounding. Ill jet it out soon or put on a different carb. B YouTube - 124+R Monkey with Dry clutch |

im dribbling,, that bikes gorgeous. the choice of exotic parts is wild ohlins brembo yoshimura gcraft takegawa daytona !!! i love the dry clutch sound ! it rattles more than the duke 748 we have at home ive just picked up the same alloy daytona indicators and waiting for the delivery of a front caliper mount for the same radial brembo too why is it lots of people favour the right hand facing carbs, is it due to a better flow ?? just out of curiosity it has took pride of place as my pc backdrop for the next few days |

How do you have that oil cooler mounted there? Can you snap a closer picture? I need one of those brackets you've got...

Takegawa has a special oil cooler mounting bracket that mounts to the +R valve tappet cover.

Its a Takegawa bracket as mentioned that replaces the tapit cover. | |

Very well sorted out Monkey with everyones wishlist of parts on it! Very sweet! I'd have to pass on the dry clutch. Rode for too many years listening to my friends Ducati rattleing away. He loved it till he bought his 848 and the first thing he said is "No more noisey damn dry clutch".

Just beautiful! The new motor looks great. What's a top speed on a motor like that?

| Advertiser | Re: reynolds_brad Panda project update. And yet a different motor. Haven't sold the ZB roller yet and I'm in no hurry to at this point. I need to replace a few items that were removed from the bike to be used on the APE or sold to others. Mainly some of the brake components. Other then that ide like to cosmetically finish it. All the replacements are on order and im not sure if i should try and sell it with a motor or as a roller. Come summer it may be gone to a new home. will see. |
