Second stop was at Legion of Honors (sorry, was too lazy to take pics )

Third stop - Crissy Field in the Marina

After stopping by the bridge, the next tourist spot is Lombard St.

From Lombard we rode by Downtown on our way to eat in the Mission

Thats all the pictures I have. The other guys have more pictures along with some footage of the ride.

The sentence 'since he can't get a damn running bike to a meet' must have fallen off of that post

Are 'awesome' and 'boner' riding impression?

The Ape was a ton of fun. It felt like riding a big bike, similar to the super moto. WAY comfortable, too.

The Monkey, of course, was awesome as well. If all of my bikes could have suspension and brakes like it, I'd be a happy man. There was some shifting stuff that took a little getting used to, but once I got the hang of it, it was a blast.

There was a small stretch where we were moving pretty good, with the Monkey and Ape right along side of eachother. If I could describe the sound, it was something like a fleet of B-52's sound in war movies. Too cool.

I rode both bikes like a big wuss for obvious reasons (i.e. NOT my bike, first time riding them, etc.), but I had a ton of fun. Once we got back into the city, I was more in my element, since dodging traffic has been more of my moto-life than riding the fun hills lately.

These bikes are not good for someone anti-social. At every light, landmark, or stop where there were people around, someone was either taking pics, pointing with a grin, or coming up to talk.

It's time to get my bike(s) running... NOW. I need to do today's ride every weekend!

Dave, Get your gear running... You've got a great bike, get it sorted out.. I'll follow the same principle and on the next ride, brad can carry his laptop secured to his bars with a webcam and I'll join in on remote video conference.
