| showa 27mm forks
I don't know how many of you caught this CR60 front end on ebay, but it is pretty clean for the price. As far as I can remember these were the only 27mm showa forks made? Basically a free carb with the deal too. If I remember right you can run either stock CR60 triples or the XR70 lower / xr80 upper combo with these forks. Just thought somebody in the og crowd would want to see this auction. I would buy them, but I have been collecting too many parts lately. 1983 Honda CR 60 forks, front wheel, carb. ,clutch ,etc:eBay Motors (item 170352674284 end time Jul-09-09 20 25 PDT) |

i put a set of these on a z50 and it looks really raked out in the front. i had a custom +5 swingarm, just to make it look somewhat right. i am sure they are 27mm. so are the xr75,sl,xl70. i used a set of forks from a 1983 kawaski kd80 with xr75 trees on my xr50. and flip the top clamp over to lower the from even more, and they work great. i will dig around for some pics if you are interested?

Post them up. I figured you would have to slide the forks up in the triples a bit. They would probably work best on a CT70 or ST90. Lowering these forks is easier than you could ever imagine. Just cut the amount you would like to lower the forks off the main spring, use the piece you cut off as a kick back spring and make a preload spacer to preload the forks again since you took out the original kick back spring.
