| Some progress on the Z!
Well i went out and started tinkering around the shop today and the next thing i know,my z is in a million pieces and im a grease ball. I decided to blast all the pieces one by one and spray them a new color! its pretty much just gonna be a little whore till i get around to actually resoring it and powdercoating everything so i figured i would just kinda have some fun and make her look kinda cool for now. remember here is what she looked like after i got it: ![]() and heres what i got freshly painted today: ![]() the wheels are gonna be bright red but i layed a fresh coat of silver down first to really bring out the red when i paint them tomorrow. the hubs are a nice shiney black now and the brake panels are a fresh silver. and heres my parts waiting for me to give them some love: ![]() ![]() I also have some really nice suprises but im gonna save those till i get everything all together.. i will be adding some more updates as i go,but remember im just doing this for fun. |

Just a quick little update,i picked up this pile today and i dont know anything about it except it has a 70 motor, manual clutch and the alternater for lights! ![]() ![]() and heres a teaser of what the z is lookin like! ![]() i wanna use the 70 motor but its beat to hell so what all do i need to do to run the 70 head and jug? i was just gonna throw new rings in it and make sure the head was nice and useable with a new gasket set....heres my issue: carb hits the frame,so can i run the stock z carb from the 50 motor? |
