spark plug threads stripped.

Just a quick question. My threads are stripped and I need to do a helicoil, permacoil, or timesert. I know that the timesert is the best way to go. I have been looking for a place to purchase the kit, but don't know the size I need.

For the timesert, I think it is the 10mm x 1.00 kit with the 9mm insert. I measured the length of the plug for the 9mm measurement.

Is this the right size for my z50. I have an 83 z50 with orignial engine.

Also would it be wise too just updgrade to the 88cc while I am rethreading.
