Are these CT70's salvageable

Hello everyone,

Now that my Z50R build is well under way, my Bro has the itch too and wants a CT70. The pics are low res and the bikes too far away, but from what you can see do you think these are salvageable and worth the $385 asking price? Your thoughts.

Thanks,
Greg

Not sure where you are in Ontario. I would opt for one of these, more complete. Keep it Honda.

Is there any rust through in the fuel tank area or the rear suspension area? What do the mounting points look like?

But looking at the pics they look like they can be saved.

It can be done but it will be a lot of work and a bunch of new parts.

Like Jimmy said, it can be done but if I were you I would look for something thats more complete if you dont want to have to do a lot of work to it.

^^^^Yeah terrible deal. Of course they can be salvaged, but you will have way way way too much money into it.

That is cannabis packed into that seat, right? If so, definitely worth $385.

Yeah, I was about to say he forgot to move his stash before taking the picture. Those bikes are not worth $385. It would take too much work to get them going again.

Thanks... LOL. Maybe I'll make an offer on the stash alone and that will help fund the search for a better bike!
