| Thiefsss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i have had my 1993 z50r for about a month and a half, and i rode to my friends house, he had just got a yamaha rhino the day before,so we were messing with it around his house, it came to be church time so we started to drive over there me and another friend i was on my z he was on a klx110, and he started spinning donuts and it started to tip and he corrected it and started to tip the other way and the passegers leg tried to stop it and it landed on his bottom of his leg and it broke both bones in his lower leg, so the kid on the klx rode back with kid in the rhino while the kid was being transported to the hospital, and another friend and i were stunting around the parking lot and i was doing a seat stand and it started to wobble and i gunned it ad it didn't help so i let off and it wobbled nore so i bailed and my brake arm went into my cases and made a nice hole big enough to let all my oil go in less than 30 seconds, and i got in and threw it in the back of my freinds f-150 and we got to church main area pulled it out and got rid of he rest of the oil and then we parked and i parked it behind the back of my friends truck, and we went in for church service and my friend had to go so i walked him out and our fiddys were still there then i come back cuz i had a wierd feeling and they were gone, and we have dont this 100+ times so now im screwed |

Dang. That sucks. Go to the police and let them know. They'll probably help. But man that sucks. Was that whole story in one day? I mean that sucks. Friend breaks a leg, you smash your case covers open, and then your bike is stolen? I hope they didn't ride it away, because if there wasn't any oil, then when you get it back, you'll have to rebuild the whole top end.

I don't trust anyone with my bike. I always keep an eye on it or lock it up. Hell, I don't even leave it in my garage with the door open. Even if I'm just going to the basemen kitchen for a drink, I close the garage door. I don't live in a bad neighborhood, I just don't trust people. My security precautions are a nice, big, thick coil lock, leave the bike in gear, fuel off, key out(duh), and sometimes in really busy places or non-busy places where there won't be many witnesses of a theft, I disconnect a wire somewhere. I know it's a lot but It's important. I probably have over $1000 invested in my bike and can't even put into words how I would feel to have a $1000 worth of bike stolen. So I am careful. I don't ever let my friends ride it. I consider it risky to let them Fred Flintstone it around the court. I just don't trust anybody because they have no experience with motorcycles.

And these bikes are so small and light you can just carry them away. I always have a bike lock in the bed of my truck so even if I just go to mcdonalds for a second it prevents someone from just walking away with it. Give the police your VIN number and everything, the last 50 I bought the guy said that it got stolen and he thought he would never see it again but police pulled some kid over riding it with out a helmet and he got it back. So you might get lucky and if they didn't part it out you might see it again. Also talk to everyone you know in town so they can keep an eye out for it, if your lucky someone will hear of it and you can get it back. Good luck and it sucks. | |

I read and reread the original post and still can't figure out what happened. you went to church and did some stunting, ate some donuts and then both wiped out. Someone went to the hospital and then parked behind a truck. There was a wobbling rhino? Last edited by d0n; 12-07-2006 at 09:26 PM. |
