| Throttle Help
I'm working on a 1974 z50ak5. Whats the deal with the internal throttle setup? I'm trying to replace the cable and clean it up. Are there any secret tricks to keep from damaging anything?

Peel the grip back and you will see the slider mechanism. I thing the cable threads into the slider mechanism and has to be undone to remove it. hope this helps. tmas |

I don't know much about how it works, but I know it's hard to get the cable back in and to go through the right holes. So if you plan on taking the old one out, tie the end to a piece of thin rope or twine so that you can tie the new on on and just pull it through. I've heard that really helps.
