| Tire rusted to rim tips?
Hey guys did some work on my 82 today throwning snow hogs on it and I managed to get the back tire apart and install the new tire but the front seems to be much much more stubborn any tips from people who have run into this before?

I used two blocks of wood and a bench vise to pinch the old tire as close together as I could. I then rotated the tire 180 degrees, and put it back in the vise. I squirted some dish detergent on the bead, front and back, and just kept rotating and pinching the tire with the blocks, in the vise. If you take your time and be patient, it can be a 3-beer project for each wheel. Since you've already done the one wheel, do the other one twice, to enjoy the whole 6-pack... |

lots of cursing and an hour of your time should do it. Take sponge bob's advice and you'll be fine.

When I put my snow hogs on i pinched the tire in the vise also - had to keep rotating and pinching it and it eventually came off. I had to cut the tire of my back rim but saved the front. Snow hogs are traction monsters, I love mine.

Here's a link to the process that I used. He's working on a CT70 rim, but the process is the same on a z50. Both my wheels were stuck tight and they came apart with very little effort after following the directions. http://www.hondatrail70.com/miniBikeBoy_front_wheel.htm /dayj1 |
