| Transmission - Output Shafts
I am in the process of building a TB 117 from a 1991 CT70 base. The output shaft needs to be replaced due to missing spline teeth at the end of the shaft. Are output shafts from 6 volt three speeds the same as the 12 volt three speeds? I have several 6 volt output shafts on hand. If not, any suggestions on where I can source the proper output shaft? Thanks for your input. Todd |

Yes, the '91 CT70 countershaft (part #23221-041-050) is the same as the early model CT70's (K1 through '82), the '69 through '99 Z50's, the '78 through '81 ATC70's, and the '80 through '83 C70's amongst others, as well.
