tunned pipe...original post...

i want your opinion...

in 2005 a thief stole my supermot' bike... on that bike i'ved change the original muffler for a racing one. i keep the original an i thinking to use it as the muffler on my Z50A.
near my place i found a guys working/welding muffler as factory racing parts.

the original muffler of my ex-ktm is a supertrapp metal emboss for left sided use... on a bike... is there a problem to pass the muffler to the left side?

here's a picture of the complete bike... i'll use only the green circled...

and a close-up of the emboss metal...

but i'll have to take decision about the BBR skidplate... i try to figure where the pipe copuld croos the frame to join the muffler on left side....

any idea?? comment??

Maybe someone else can, but I don't understand what you're asking?

ok i tought it was clear the green circled part of the muffler will be cut and add to a full pipe for a Z50A-K1 1969...
the question is: did anybody try to pass a muffler on left side on a hard tail because the supertrapp silencer has been made for left side (metal emboss crest brand).
and the "problem"... i got a BBR SkidPlate... and my Z50A-K1 1969 got a battery... if you were me where i should pass the pipe cross side to get a left muffler...

You're probably not going to get that oversized KTM exhaust canister to fit inside the frame of your hardtail, and if you intend to mount it on the outside of the frame, you better be wearing a fire suit to prevent the second degree burns to the whole inside portion of your left leg.
In my opinion, a totally impractical idea, and a waste of time and effort.

for sure it will pass out of the frame...
i think to pass it as the APE style...
to get a result look like this...

on left side... or right side...
or if someone else give me a fair price for my KTM stock stainless supertrapp muffler...i' ll take consideration...

mounted like that but on the left side instead of right / and far enough back that its not in the way of the shifter / your foot / or the sprocket&wheel removal = I think it would be cool (and very original)
