i have the opportunity to buy a ct70h w/ the 4 spd manual that's in pretty rough shape along w/ a couple other ct70's for a good deal. the h has the motor apart as the p/o stated the piston froze and he had removed it. my question is how much does a worst case scenario basket case 70h go for w/ the motor partially disassembled? i really don't care if i keep the the h model or not. i'd really like to sell off whatever ones would make more money and get my money back to invest into just one of them to have a nice running bike. thanks guys!!

I'd say 300-400$ theres alot of variables that could change the price. It wouldn't take to much effort to get that H-motor running which would be a worthy investment since they are desirable.

yea i know it only needs a piston, rings, and the cylinder honed but i honestly was looking for the quickest turnaround investment kinda thing seeing as i really don't need several bikes.

To be honest, that sounds like a quick turn around. Unless you don't know how to do those things, then paying someone could be a hassle.

oh no i definitely know how to do those things and have done them many times. what i was saying is that i didn't feel like having to do them and just wanted to see how much i could get for it with those said problems

I have a ct70 h bottom end complete with cluch assy and a cl70 complete with clutch assy.I can throw in a cylinder and head for the h if someone wants it to be complete.$100.00 shipped for either motor.
