anybody have a wiring diagram for a 1982 ct. i have found plenty of other yrs, but not this one. also looking for a key switch with a key for this bike.

1982 CT70 didn't have turn signals. 1974 K3 was the first year and stopped shortly thereafter, then again I believe in 1991.

You sure on that? Partslists show '81 - '82 models having the same kind of square turn signals that the Passports and ZB50 had.

You are correct, the 1981 - 1982 had winkers (blinkers just like the 1991 - 1994). I have a brand new wiring harness for the 1993 that I won't be using and is identical to the 1981 (I looked at the schematic and looks to be the same). The only difference is my 1993 is 12 volt. Let me know if you need the harness.

Go off of the 1991-1993 wiring diagram also.

Sorry, no, I don't, that schematic is the only one shown for the CT70 model in the Clymer Manual

I can post the correct wiring diagram a little later tonight...That 93 wire harness wont work without a bunch of reworking. A new key switch if still available is only around $30. You could get a nice harness from Trailbikes for $30 and get the matching key switch and mount it in the frame where they normally go. That key switch is a bit more $$ though.

i may still be interested in the cdi harness, i might convert this to cdi. not sure yet, i have a cdi & old school key switches, just not the one for a 1982. on the subject of cdi iginition, is there an easy way to convert the original 3spd points to cdi? with out changing the crank. i know the 3spd,4spd,cdi all have different cranks. what about the trx 70's? then i could get a 4 gear!!also keep in mind i am going for street legal here. thoughts???
