That my friend is a big dollar dream. It is a G-Craft prepared Monkey bike. G-C is a premier manufacturer of aftermarket Z50/Crf/Monkey parts. There products are high quailty. Swingarms,wheels,exhausts..etc. I believe these custom bikes that are shown on their website can be ordered. Sweet.

that's the Custom Complete form G-Craft of Japan. It's a Honda Monkey or Gorilla, which aren't available to the US market.

I wonder what that thing would really cost if you wanted to order one from G-Craft.

...So, what's 323,600+/- yen among friends...?

Latest currency conversion value - $1.00 US=115.097 Japanese yen

323600
115.097 = $2,811.54

That sound about right, Dilligaf...?

Dill, even if I did calculate the parts on that page (which is about $2500 in US dollars), it wouldn't tell me how much G-Craft is selling them for. You've got labor to put the bike together, motor works, and various other built in costs. Then the US market people would have shipping cost, import fees, and other costs on top of that. Taking all that into consideration, there's pretty much no way I could estimate their asking price, and the cost of importing one.

Anyone know how the Honda Monkey frames are different than the US market Honda Z50 frames (post hard-tails of course)?
Just wondering if the G-Craft seats would fit on the Z50 frame or if you would have to fab it up to mount one?
Same thing for the Fatty exhaust that is seen in the pics above.. would you have to weld the tab for the rear mount?

Dilligaf, thanks for the info on my post.... good stuff to know.

Not sure of the purpose of your "side-note", but some of us have no other options than to go through Monkeybikes.uk to get parts. We don't have any dealers in the States. There are very few other options (like Z88r). I just spoke the guys at Classic Honda (the only US importer shop that I know of) and they're telling me it's up to a 4 month wait or more if I order G-Craft through them.

Step-One bikes are beautiful IMO. He does a really clean job putting them together as he uses almost all G-Craft parts. That first bike pictured in the first post was one of my main inspirations on my build. There is no joke that G Craft parts can make you broke, but there is little substitution as far as quality go's. But a wise man once told me, "you have to pay to play in this world".

My monkey build is nearing completion as the center piece is finished and ill soon have it installed. I've documented everything and is not even funny to look at the totals. In the nearing months ill send you all the link to a site with my full write up.

I honestly would love to see more modded out monkey bikes in the states. I encourage all of you to go all out on your builds if you enjoy them at least half as much as I do. So many friends of mine just don't get it. They ask "so what do you do with the bike" as if I did it to make money off it somehow. I say I ride it, I show it, and I work on it. They always give me a confused look as if wanting a better explanation. Its been 3 years now and the whole process of getting the parts, figuring out how to make them work, and visualizing what the bikes going to be like has really been the best part.

I like to think that my friends on PM understand. I'm sure some of you get the same joy of just having a custom mini.

Hey Guys everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I don't like having to post in thread like this telling guys to stop the name calling, and I don't like pulling posts.

Internet drama is fun I know, but really. no need to talk about your packages, or insult heritage.

Keep it clean, thanks Your Mod.

I totally agree with reynold, it's about the process of modding the bike. Sometimes you spend a lot of money on pre-fabbed parts, sometimes it's a diy build your own cheapo exhaust affair. With my ZB50's, I don't have a lot of money to throw at them, but a decent rattle can paint job once a year or a gutted exhaust that takes a couple days to build is what I enjoy doing. We'll never make our money back but it's not about selling the final product, it's about having something you've put some blood and sweat into.

Funny cause that's the same bike that got me buying parts from japan.
Can you imagine a bike having that much of an influence. Great marketing ploy if it's even one. It did it for me

Learning is also half the fun. Especially if you have help from guys who are willing to help the newbs out. Thanks again by the way!

I feel your pain/addiction/obession. That's why I'm here on PM.

rocking the monkeys!

brembo crab calipers front and back on G-Craft brackets with 190mm braking usa rotors (Braking disc rotors not available in the USA) , G-Craft rear swingarm, and NSR50 forks on G-Craft tripples.

I run a moded set of NSR forks by RJP on my monkey with g craft triples and brake brackets. As far as a street tuned set of forks for city riding i havent seen much else that can match them. Stock NSR forks arnt much to write home about though.

I just tried to order that G-Craft swing arm earlier this month from Classic Honda... They called me back the next day, after I ordered it, and told me they where all out of stock... that was a let down.

I can never stop thinking how big that caliper is. It looks like it would stop a fully loaded bus.
