| What did everyone get for Christmas?
Well I’ll start off by telling what I got. I got some TB reproduction (knock-off) XR75 shock absorbers. I also got a magnetic drain bolt. I got a kill switch with a button that I'll use for the horn on my Z. I got all the rest of the books in the Tom Swift series. I know it’s a bit childish but I didn’t have the full collection when I started reading them and I really want to finish them up. I also got a few missing Hardy Boys books. I got a couple model car kits and a CBR1000RR model kit. I already assembled the CBR1000RR kit. It was one of the cheap snap together ones. I also got a 1GB USB drive to carry files from home to school. My Granddad started me off with a tool set of my own. I got a phillips and flat tip screwdriver. Cheesy I know. I know I got more stuff that wasn’t motorcycle related. I really wish I wasn’t obsessed with minibikes. I feel like I should want something else, but I just don’t. And today I decided that I want to restore my 1984 Z50R to completely stock. And then I’ll buy a 1988 or 1989 Z50R to soup up and have fun on at which point I'll put all my aftermarket modified parts on the newer bike. I just figured that my 1984 Z50R has so much money and time into it that I shouldn’t be riding it through two feet of water. So what did everyone else get? ![]() ![]() Last edited by arlindsay1992; 12-25-2006 at 09:40 PM. |

Yeah, I will. I'm going to keep the 84 clean and ride the 79 until I buy the 88 or 89. I'm now looking for an xr75 swingarm because the XR75 shocks are really stiff. By getting a longer swingarm, the angle of the shocks will be changed and should be softer.
