My Mood: | What front Sprocket Size Will Fit?
I had a 15 on my z(from 14 stock) and the chain ground out a path inside the housing for the front chain wheel and it worked fine forever. I now have a 26 rear(Awesome!) and I wanna go bigger up front again. Matt leant me a 17 front and it seems to fit all by itself, but wont even push all the way in with the chain on it. Can this work? Like if I let it grind its way in there, or is that murder on the cases? I think it is, but am not sure. Would a 17 fit itself in there? If not, will a 16 fit? 1996 z50r |

When the chain is on, it fits vertically(near teeth and chain), but not width ways in the cases.

On a z50? Did it grind its way to fit, or what? Id post pics of the grooves and how it fits, but my dad has all the cameras in his truck.

I have a 16T sprocket and it did some rubbing to the cases, but its was most likely casued by a chain that was alittle bit sloppy.
