What's your budget and what type of riding ? You'll have to decide what swingarm length you want and then shock length to keep it level. There's a bunch of different setups in the Z50 picture thread. Check out SLOWPOKE and ARLINDSAY'S bikes for a pretty good setup for not a big wad of cash.

My setup is +1 fork legs. One BBR hd spring and one stock Z spring(the BBR HD springs are really stiff and I'm only 140 pounds). The rear end is an XR75 swingarm and the shocks are the CT70 repro shocks from Honda TB.

I'm running the stock swing arm on one of mine with 305mm Kitaco shocks. If you did say a +4" swing arm you would need longer shocks than that. The XR75 and XR80 swing arms are 4" longer than the stock Z swing arm (Z=12",XR75/80= 16").Here's a picture of both.

What are you doing for the brake stop that is on the Z50 arm? Are you just making a new one or what.

Are they the same width where the wheel mounts in the arm? By the way, thanks for the info |

The XR75 swingarm is about 1/4 inch wider at the axle. But I just used it and it tightened down normal.

Does the xr75 swingarm bolt onto the z50 frame without any modifications? Is it the same width at the swingarm bolt end?
