I bought a '91 CT70 locally that I plated for $850, complete and in mint condition. It's worth alot more than that, but he didn't really know that. I think mine might get about $1200-$1600 on ebay. If you're looking at one that's in a box then I wouldn't spend much more than $600-$800. IMO. |

FYI...you can plate anything older than 1980 using its-titles.com in nevada for about $75. So, don't let the plate thing discourage you. I think a boxed-up, rough ct70 is worth about $150. You can find them at every swap meet in the US. Title? A title is worth $75 because that is all it takes to get one...oh, and that includes 1 year of registration as well.

found it in PA..problem is the laws are so strict here that if i can't find one that's been already plated in nebraska or has current paltes iin another state i'll have one hell of a time getting it legal because of the wheel size on it... but if it was registered here before = no problem...same deal if it;s got current plates from another state...they'll only check for a matching VIN under those cirumstances racerx...ou wanna sell me one?

This is how its-titles works. You "sell" the bike to alabama or maine. They register it over there. They "sell" it back in your name with a registration but no title. Why? No title is required in those states...just registration papers. So, you take the registration papers and plates into nebraska DMV and you get it titled. Same thing goes in VA and I had no issues at all. I also did this in Ohio and PA when I lived there. I can build you one if you want, get it titled in VA, and sell it if you really want. I have a C70 in great condition. |

if nothing else i might take you up on that... i was thinking i could at least start witha registered frame adn tehn from there finish building it, but i don't want it to turn in to a major investment, i'd rather ust buy a jincheng pandaa, skyteam st90 or a already plated CT70 i really want a panda/monkey since i know i could stunt the hell out of one of those...not so sure on the CT or ST90..the CT would probably be easier than the skyteam for sure though
