i have a 78 was chrome fenders an option? what years had painted and what years had chrome feders?

79 was the year they started to have the red fender is i'm not mistaken.

1972-1978 all had chrome fenders.

i dont think the one you had has chrome fenders just so you know. its a bad one. should be rebuilt at all. you should just give it to me. and never build a 50 ever. yea thats it.

78 has painted fendres stock i think the rest have crome

yea, my '78 had painted fenders. pretty sure it was '72-'77 that was chrome. the '78 look almost identical but the fenders are painted.

Yes, according to my Honda identification guide, 78' had red painted fenders.

My bad. 78 were painted, but the earlier pre 72-77 chrome fenders are the same and more readily available. People can get those in carbon fiber and aluminum as well.

thats what i thought i have a 78 that is all there but needs restore and and 74 in peices but i have new oem crome fenders and bars which bike should i build
