A lot of peeps here run a xr, xl, sl, \ 70-75 swinger.
It nearly a bolt on swap.
Do a search.
If you need rear shocks,
I have some 335mm CT70 shocks I'll let go.
Pm if your interested.

Go for a +8cm to +10cm over stock swingarm and a good set of rear shocks with adjustable preload, compression and rebound.

Showa's, Ohlins, etc, not the cheap Kitaco and Takegawa offerings that only have preload.

z88R- Do you have any links to the Ohlins shocks that would be best suited for such a set up? I'd like to see this.. You'd need to buy 2 correct? Or do you mean converting the rear to a monoshock??

You have to find a used set off of an OEM application that used them in Japan. Figure about $600-$700 a pair after they are worked and resprung.

Too rich for my blood.

This has a good amount of travel. XR75 swingarm and I believe the shocks are old CR80 models. It soaks up the bumps pretty well and doesnt mind jumping either.
