| wich ct70h to restore
i have 2 ct70h bikes both complete and i just had both motors completely redone, i hear some people talk about early numbers on some bikes, does the make a bike worth more? one bike the motor is 105541 and the frame is within 100 of the motor numbers, the second bike is motor146864 and the frame is within 10 digits of the motor it is green and for some reason i like this bike better and thats the one i was going to restore but if the other orange bike is worth more cause of earlier numbers then that may change my mind. what do you guys think?

Those are both early bikes. If one of them was a three digit VIN and Frame # It would be a no brainer, but both are several thousand into production so really no advantage from a valuation standpoint. Personally I'd go with the tighter #'s and Emerald green. |

i basicly figured the same, being that they were in the thousands it wouldnt matter, and i do like the green on better anyway maybe its the color or maybe its because its got the handlebars that are closer together, not sure but there both in the same shape. thanks

Green CT all the way. Numbers are closer, means more than lower serial number. No brainer. The other CT is good one also. At that point in production, if the motor and frame are within 300 of each other, its considered number matching. Motor #'s ran away from the frame numbers early on in production.

After reading that about serial #s amd motor #s I'm going to go out and see how far off the numbers are for my Z50s...I'm curious now. | |
