Hey everyone, FIRST POST for me but i've got lots of questions. The main one i'm trying to get nailed down is.

I want to put a 88cc kit from 50 caliberracing.com for $360 in my 78 Z50 but i'm wondering if it will work? it should since it comes with the head and all. Having the new head would upgrade my engine so it can use the new roller bearing cams.

Purchase the correct kit from hondatrailbikes.com, under thier z50 section.

The Crank maybe different...which means the Skirt on the Piston my hit..?

Before you buy anything for your '78, you might want to read through these two threads from the Archives:

Long Rod vs. Short Rod

New Head on Short Rod

As SprNtrl said, you would be better off with a TrailBikes kit, or a similar setup from DRATV.
