Re: wiring for 6 volt

Colors of the wirings coming from the harness and motor would be helpful. Since the stock motor and the 88cc motor are 6v, it's down to matching the colors of the wires together.

Did you get a CDI with your 6V engine? Is it points ignition?

Re: wiring for 6 volt

Why don't you just swap out the stator and flywheel from the Lifan 125 engine that you have, and put it on the 88 engine? You can then use the instructions posted in your other thread about How to wire a Lifan 125 to a Panda Bike

because i dont have the parts to make the 12volt motor run to begin with or i would have just stayed with the 125

Is the Panda a 12V bike, or is it 6V?

Re: wiring for 6 volt

From looking at the diagram I gave you in your build thread, here's what I think is correct:

solid white - to rectifier
blue/white - CDI trigger

solid red - not related to the motor
solid orange - not related to the motor

and from the Motor

yellow/red - CDI power
solid yellow - to rectifier
solid white - to rectifier
white/red - CDI trigger
green/white - Neutral
and a black - Ground

Didn't you just need the following: 12v CDI, bulbs, rectifier, battery, ignition coil, and flasher relay? It would have came out to about $100 or so.

*Edit - looks like one of the green wires and the red wire is for the battery.

Re: wiring for 6 volt

I was unaware that the Panda is a 6V bike, now I understand why you didn't use the Lifan engine. My mistake...
