| wiring for 6 volt
alright in my other thread of my build i have stated that i was going to run a 12v motor. well the plans have changed and i will be running a 6volt 88cc motor. so my question is how do i wire it up? alright i have the motor bolted up and now i need help with wiring. Colors from Main Harness black/red, solid green x2, solid white, blue/white, solid yellow, solid red, solid orange, and from the Motor yellow/red, solid yellow, solid white, white/red, green/white, and a black Last edited by bigluelok; 02-23-2009 at 04:58 PM. |

Colors of the wirings coming from the harness and motor would be helpful. Since the stock motor and the 88cc motor are 6v, it's down to matching the colors of the wires together.

Why don't you just swap out the stator and flywheel from the Lifan 125 engine that you have, and put it on the 88 engine? You can then use the instructions posted in your other thread about How to wire a Lifan 125 to a Panda Bike |

From looking at the diagram I gave you in your build thread, here's what I think is correct: Quote:

*Edit - looks like one of the green wires and the red wire is for the battery. Last edited by big pete; 02-25-2009 at 03:31 PM. | ||

I was unaware that the Panda is a 6V bike, now I understand why you didn't use the Lifan engine. My mistake...
