| Wiring a K2 w/Lifan
Does anyone know the best route to go for wiring my K2 project with a Lifan motor? I'm wiring it from scratch, no existing harness. I was thinking of getting one of the repro K2 harnesses available & I think dratv had an extension harness for the china motors? I've seen some real basic pitbike style harnesses too, although I'd like to have the wiring for the lights eventually. Thanks, any input is appreciated  I'm seriously wiring challenged  |

have you tried Trailbikes for a harness?

Saw'em on there last night they had a "china" harness also.I was hoping someone would go, "yeah, order this & this" lol After thinking this over some more... I figure I'll run a 12v headlight & no taillight, probably a small 4x4 truck unit, nice rock grill on the lamp etc. Is there a wattage limit? Should a 35w or 55w lamp run OK off the Lifan's 12v system? Thanks again |
