wiring question..in video format

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nW4SXpeAY8

sorry it's not top notch quality but good enough to convey my question and keep from typing 1 million words only to make things more confusing.

The connector location really have me stumped.

Sorry but whats the question?

are you only trying to resolve the battery and the connectors that you aren't sure of?

Are the other connectors labeled because you are certain what they are?

This is a process of elimination.

Rather than laying the harness out on the bike, lay it out on a piece of cardboard. Continue down the path you've already started; identify the connector by the wires and label. You'll get there eventually. THEN decide where you want them laid out on the bike.

Re: wiring question..in video format

First off, you have your wiring harness slide too far backwards on the bike. Slide it forward.

As you sit on the bike:

The wiring harness will run on the left side of the frame tube.

The coil will be mounted on the right side similar to where your stock 6V coil used to mount.

The CDI, Turn signal relay and voltage regular will all mount to the Z50JP battery box that you don't have behind the left side cover.

The green wire with the ring eyelet is your ground and will attach to the frame where your air cleaner used to mount.

You have wire leads for the kickstand switch subharness you don't have, and if you don't jump those wires together, your bike will never fire with that harness.

You have wire leads that go to the rear brake switch that you probably don't have. (and really don't need)

On the front of the bike, you have wiring that will plug into a Z50JP clamshell, the speedo, the neutral indicator, the speed warning module, 3 prong connector for the 12V lighting. Wire leads for the front brake switch

Start by moving the harness up so it plugs into your 12V coil and so the front of the harness will fit inside your headlamp shell. You'll also need a good sized headlamp shell to house all the connectors as even with a Honda Monkey headlamp, it will be a tight fit.

You can see where the coil is mounted in my pic here so you can at least get the harness in the correct position to give yourself a fighting chance...

You see that big white connector with the red mini fuses? That's the battery connector that snaps over the Uber Expensive OEM Monkey Battery. What you'll want to do is cut that off or make a jumper harness to a cheaper and smaller battery after you fabricate your battery box. If you don't plan on running a battery, you'd better get a batteryless kit in place of the battery since the battery also aids in voltage regulation and prevents spikes in the system.

Ignition meaning keyswitch? You can wire in a kill switch if you want in place of a keyswitch, but you'll still need a provision for controlling constant and switched power to the rest of the componentry depending on how much you plan to run. You can probably use the OEM on/off switch with some thought into how the power flows through the harness.

I'll help where I can, but dont' have the time you need to walk you though the entire wiring process from start to finish so keep this in mind if your posts aren't answered in a timely fashion.

well i meant i don't i have to plug my china cdi box into this mess of wire [they do have converters plus i've been planning on usingthe TB cdi]for it work?

i was gonna splice the genny wires in some how. I am running a batery I bought the same one in your silver Z. So far your pooring out a wealth of info for me. i assume the negative battery lead will be home made grounding wire/cable [duuhh]? I do still need the fuse right?

Re: wiring question..in video format

one other note i might add. I've realized once you start to go J you pretty much have toge the rest of the way with rack and key and every thing, the correct seat may also shorten up the gap for the rear TL bracket. Having the blinkers and ignition and stuff is a plus and usually safer.

Also i got a bulb and what not to fit my cl70 hl bucket and it's 12v but does not have and adjustment screw but hey what i have now doens't really work since i don't have the nut for adjustmen screw so it's about even
