My Mood: | Wobbly Rims
Okay, both the front and rear wheels on my Z have a slight wobble (side to side) to them. It is not noticeable when riding the bike, but just spinning the wheel manually it is easily spotted. How would one go about getting the rims straight or "trued" again? Is it possible to do with the steel rims, or am I gonna have to settle for new rims all around? Or did I get the halves mixed up? if that is even possible. Is this wobble being generated by the middle part of the rim where it mounts to the hub, or is it elsewhere? |

check the hub mounting bolts to make sure they are snug, one loose one can cause the wheel to wobble.

Even the new rims I've gotten have had a slight wobble to them. It only has to be off a small amount in the center where they bolt together to translate into a bigger wobble at the edge. I just live with it. Cant even tell when riding.
