| Would this mount up without modifications?
I want a skid plate for my 1984 Z50R. I am looking on eBay and see a lot of CT70 Skid plates that mount with the peg mount and on the main frame tube. I wonder if the CT70 skid plate would fit on my Z. It seems the top mounts on the skid plate could fit around the front gas tank mounts. I may have to drill the holes to a larger diameter. So would it fit? If not I will buy a cheap (low quality) one off eBay for $20.00. ![]() I see that the skid plate is bent. I probably won't buy this one. I just wanted you to know what kind of skid plate I'm talking about. Last edited by arlindsay1992; 05-24-2006 at 08:07 PM. |

Both Minigunz.com and Northeast Vintage Cycle sell true Z50 skid plates. Same mounting points and looks great. The CT70 one will fit poorly and look like crap.

XR/CRF will fit. You can buy them anywhere. www.DPMmx.com has the kind that don't bolt to the cylinder itself if that's your issue.
