My buddy has an 81 passport and would like to put his honda 88 motor in it. The passport is 6volt. Wound the stator,got a harness, regulator/rectifier from dratv. Is that all that is needed? What all is involved with the swap? Was told this reg/rec will keep the 6volt system in tact on the bike. Sound right?
