Not a "Razz hater" but I had one a few years back as a pit bike and it was a snail. I dont think you'll find much aftermarket for them either. The Jog was a better scooter, much quicker. I beat the snot out of mine and couldnt kill it.

I have one but it's stock and will stay stock. It's my beater. Yamaha dealers should be able to get you parts. Ebay also has a bunch of parts. |

ok i didn't think about ebay. what oil do you run in it? and how much gear oil does it take? it doesn't have a manual or a dipstick. |

2 stroke injector oil in the tank under the seat. You can use 10/40 in the tiny gear case. It doesnt hold much. Should have a check bolt near the rear brake arm.

Former bandmate commuted to work on a Razz for a few years, but then changed for a Honda Elite 80 when he changed jobs. The razz was good for maaaaaaybe 35 mph, and he had some 40+mph traffic on his new route. But it was a reliable little bike for him for a couple years...especially compared to the mid-60s Vespa 125 Sport he eventually got! One caution: it is not convenient to transport an electric bass and amp on a Razz. |
