So today I was chilling at Starbucks on Melrose and normally guys come up to me and ask me questions and stuff, but was surprised by a cute asian girl who came up to me and asked if she can take a picture of it.

i'll probably be going to l.a. gain for vacation, any chance i could see that bike in real life? it would be so cool if i could take my bike to cali and find somewhere to ride, but i doubt that would ever happen.

Very cool pictures.

Yeah yeah...I'll get my Gorilla up and running so we can take advantage of this awesome weather in the 80's in January.

I wonder if that Asian chick was Japanese and your bike will end up on some Japanese Monkey bike site. That would be cool.

You shoulda buzzed those Harleys in the first pictures. LOL. They would've been like WTF?

Thanks Sam, I'm usually pretty good about telling the difference between races, but I couldn't tell this time. She definitely wasn't a FOB. She was with a cute blonde too. That would be cool though. Maybe she'll try to figure out what kind of bike it was when she gets home and finds this site, lol.

Funny you mention that, my girlfriend told me that when I passed them, they all did one of those double takes, haha.

With 15/37 gearing it seems to only do 50mph.

Pick up a 16T front. I was running 16/34 on the Panda and Lifan combo and hit 58mph on 8" wheels.

damn mine is 14/30 and maxed out at 48.8 with a crappy gps, i;m gonna run a 14/26 and i hope it will max out then with some engine work will do 60.

Thanks for the info Pete. On my wide 10 inchers, I'm not looking foward to losing any more torque.

When I ran a 16/37 on my takegawa 88 motor which also did 50mph, I didn't like it. I don't want to really lose anymore torque than what I have now so, if anything I may drop 1 or 2 teeth in the rear. I dunno...
