My Mood: | z50 for bonneville
If this is not in the right spot can a mod move it? I just had a crazy idea of building a z50 for the bonneville 50cc catagory, has anyone else thought of this? Any ideas for parts remembering that 50cc displacement would be the limit and 10" rims. I have seen aluminum and chromoly frames advertised. Does anyone know of an aluminum 50cc engine (DOHC?)? Figuring light weight would be beneficial for this future project. Eugene |

I've thought about it for a few bikes and engines including 50s to our national dirt track race bikes but haven't spent the time to set it up. The current record isn't the greatest so it should be easily beat. Post the official rules once you get the book.
