can anyone tell me what i need to swap to a newer engine like the 110 jobs on ebay etc. what has to be changed to make it run work etc. the bike has no engine right now but all org wiring coil etc. it is a 1977 z50 roller: |

You will need to use the 12V wiring harness that comes with the engine package.

does that mean the coil and cdi box etc. with the new harness. and can i hook up lights. thanks |

Most engines come with wiring harness,CDI,and coil.As far as lights,it'll need a stator that is wrapped for lights.You will also need a voltage regulator.

if i have the regulator and and engine with the wiring stator in it do you hook the wires to the reg or what and then run them to lights

It depends on what kind of regulator you have.I suggest following the manufacturers instructions.Do a search here on PM too.Search for "voltage regulator".There have been several posts about the subject.I know I posted a wiring diagram for mine once.
