C Graft has what your looking for. I have heard nothing about any fast50s z frame. I dont think they have come out with anything for a z in a while. |

I saw that they (fast50's) have a new +1 swinger for the Z50's The G-craft one is too expensive, I figured if fast50's did actually come out with one it would be a neat part to get and slightly more affordable than importing one from overseas. I run a small minishop up here in Canada and I want to build a real headturner, good advertising I emailed fast50's about it, just waiting for a reply, thought I'd throw out to the forum

Lowbike, are you talking about this swingarm: http://fast50s.com/cart/customer/pro...6&cat=3&page=3 Its not a "new" product, pretty sure they had it on the we site for the better part of a couple of years or more. For not much more, you can get a nicer swingarm out of Japan. And yes, I am a cheapskate Z50 owner for the most part :P Last edited by SprNtrl; 05-17-2006 at 05:12 PM. |

Z50 riders cheapskates? Think not. Looks like the cheapest thing to ride is a CRF or a China bike. CRF are lame. Everyone looks the same. Wow different graphics on this one! Think out of the box. Try being creative an build an old Z50 up. Will cost much more than a XR/CRF. By the way, I may be producing chrome-moly Z50 hardtail and softtail frames with Craig at Fast50's. We were discussing the idea at Vegas last week. Long live the Z50! |

Im wondering if the Z50 market is strong enough here in NA to actually be worth Fast50's and your time to produce a domestic aftermarket frame for the Z50. How are Fast50's other Z50 specific parts selling?

The Z50 started it all for me. Four 50's later and I'm still dumping money into my Z and it is still the funnest one of them all to ride!!!

The Z50 is the o.g. dirt mini. The XR/CRF is unrideable compared to the Z in stock form. Anyone over the age of 6 can't ride in stock form. A Z50 you can. Yes CRF'S are better in the dirt if you mod them. Handlebar kit, shocks, fork springs, better tires, etc.... A stock 1975 Z50 will bury a stock CRF50. Because you won't be able to fit on it unless your a jockey. CRF'S stock are the Harley's of dirt. Wobbly old sheds!

I want a billet one though, maybe a Chromoly +2" but billet would be better, the G-craft is too expensive, over $2000 CDN easy Crf's arent lame, just not quite the caliber of the Z's unless you build a Crf with a set of Z50 tires which will solve a lot of the crf's esthetic problems I think I sold my Pitster to concentrate on building my Z
