I have a 1984 honda Z50R with a late 70s (I think) engine on it and I was wanting to change from a points ignition to a electronic, but just wanted to know what parts I would need to convert it over. Thanks

There is a seller on e-bay called xspares who sells the CDI kits for the Honda 6volt motors $99.00 + ship from Thailand -- everyone I have talked to says that this kits is very good for the money -- and you can add lights to the bike to your Z50R as it has a lighting coil with the kit and your Z50R does not have a lighting coil in it now -- it has two pieces to it the stator and a CDI unit and the cable to make it work -- I will be putting one on my Z50AK2 project build with a 88cc kit -- Hope that this helps ya
