| Z50 Rear Hub problems
the bolts that hold my sprocket in place, well the holes that they go into are stripped, so im guessing i need to replace the rear hub and not the whole rim? i cant find any hubs online, im not sure if i want a old one but the only one i can find is for $150 on ebay, which is a bit steep, any 1 know what i should do? and where i can find a new one for a decent price

You can get time-serts installed in the hub then some new studs and you'll be good as new...What's your location ? Any good shops in your area ?

| Re: Z50 Rear Hub problems 4-bolt hubs are from '68 through '79. 3-bolt hubs are from '80 through '99. XR/CRF50s use 10" spoked wheels. Your engine serial # comes back as a '68-'69 model |

You'll find 4 bolt hubs used on eBay all the time. If you can't find one you must have discovered the internet yesterday. There is usually one or two up all the time.

Of the three rear Z50 hubs I found on eBay, two were 4-bolt hubs. Here they are: eBay Motors: 1969 69 Z50 Z 50 Honda Mini Trail Wheel Hubs (item 250192681981 end time Dec-04-07 18:48:00 PST) eBay Motors: Honda z50 z 50 Minitrail Mini Trail wheel hubs (item 130179031339 end time Dec-05-07 20 19 PST) |
