Thanks for the picture I know how it hooks up know but still no spark - new stator new points, new condenser could it be my plug but it looks ok? do you mean the stator on the left that go's to the condenser too. The other side has 2 wires that go to the lights?

if your still not getting spark it could be your coil, or even a bad spark plug

put a tiny bolt ot screw in your spark plug wire hold the bolt and kick it over and see if you get shocked then you will know if its your coil or your plug.

OK, I put a bolt in the boot and I did not get shocked and I put a 6 volt power supply to the positive side of the coil and I get a good spark this so called stator I replaced said it was for a z50 but I believe it is aftermarket and the 2 stators or coils are as this - the Lighting coil has 2 wires coming off it and is slightly larger the other one has 1 single wire that is coming off it and another wire that is looped and partially insulated I know this sounds confusing but I contacted the person I received it from Ebay and they said 1 wire goes to the condenser and the other to the points and I tried it that way and no spark I always thought that like in the previous picture that 1 wire goes from the points to the condenser, 1 wire goes from the primary coil to the condenser and 1 wire comes off the condenser to the coil that goes to the plug. Does this make any sense to anyone?
