| z50 stator on a ct70
Will my 86 z50 stator and flywheel fit on a 76 ct70 engine? I know i will loose the option to run lights but it is going in my z50 so i don't need them

I know the stator plate will. I'm not sure about the flywheel. But if you have a CT70 flywheel, you can use that and the Z50R stator plate.

Thanks arlindsay. i have the flywheel but it looks like it was beaten off with a hammer so i'm not sure if there will be any balance issues. I guess i will have to pull both apart ad see what will fit.

In the Clymer manual for my Z50R, it says that dropping the flywheel or otherwise putting sudden forceful impacts will make the flywheel lose it magnetic force to some extent. And that it should be replaced.

Both the stator and the flywheel are interchangable on those bikes.
