Z50ak2 1970-1971

okay i'ved not finish yet my Z50AK1-1969 flammed tank.

a guys at my job hear about another guys how give away a Z50AK2... so i got a new bike!

my twins boys will have 9 month soon! and they'll have their bike!

i just remember the resto begin of the Z50AK1... and don't wanna made "error"....

so in the beginnig... or in order... witch are the things to think about?

first: -choosing the wheels? w or without disc brake?
second: - choosing the front end as original or suspension one?
3th: -choosing the frame & tank color?
4th: -stripp clean & rebuilt motor?

i know there's a lot of experienced guys around here... what will be your first move... and the second...

i haved put around $3000 in paint job & nice parts on the Z50AK1... so the budget for the Z50AK2 will be approx the same.

i'll get the bike tomorrow i'll put picture!

Re: Z50ak2 1970-1971

I use Honda Motorcycle Parts, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha Motorcycle Parts - ATV, Classic Bike, Dirt Bike Parts to research part numbers

Looks like you have alot of work to do!

I believe at one time that frame may have been--say it with me, now--mexicanyella! What's going on with those kray-zee bars? Are they bent forward, rotated a bit and decorated with duct tape?

Nice, hardtails have really been growing on me lately. I'd begin with a complete strip down of the bike first and assess the parts to be repaired and or replaced. Then you can see how much money you will have left over for the rest. I would keep the front end original and paint everything black including both motor side covers and wheels.
