| 02 vs 03 klx 110 motors
I am reading alot of info on stroker cranks and other aftermaket mods, most of them state 03 and up, is there a difference that won't allow the 02 klx to accept these parts such as the stroker crank and the TB manual clutch upgrade or the drice gear to drive it. any help would be appreciated thanks.

yes they use different cranks so the clutch components wont work on the stock crank also the stock crank is much smaller and weaker ..motohp sells a kit to convert your 02 motor to be the same as an 03 and up

So cranks are smaller, do you know what the crank kit motohp consist of, how to reach them, and is there anything else i should know on the differences in up grades on the 02, is the 02 engine as reliable

Well that's good to know. Thanks I have a 04 klx that needs motor work and want to know if the stroker crank is the best option, I just rode jrobs yesterday, wooowww crazy power but only put a couple laps, so didn't get to really get a feel yet. But with the stroker is it less durable?? Or is there no dif.
