Re: brand x minis??

I was looking at the complete kit. Forks,Swinger and Shock. For the price it seems like a good deal.

I think they also offer it with a 12" wheel and bar kit for 100.00 more.

Check out T bolt he has them.

They are much better in quality. But if your not going to be racing and jumping off the roof of your house the Brand X Mini stuff should be adequate

Lot's of people on this site have had problems with Brand X stuff. Search the site and you'll find lots of feedback.

Re: brand x minis??

those kits are like what, 650? spend that or a little more on a used setup from someone on here and you won't regret it later on.

Re: brand x minis??

They come with the DNM shock right? So that is one reason why it is so cheap... If your looking for a full suspension setup I'd get the one on tBolt with the pitster front end and Sano MX style swinger with either a DNM or iShock. It's like $1270 with the DNM for brand new long travel suspension, and you can for sure trust the Sano.

Re: brand x minis??

yeah. just keep an eye on the used 110 parts forum for mabe one of the BBR superpro's (old model they made that looks like the BrandX) those are good setups and can be had for reasonable prices.. or even a TBR old style +4 swinger. cant go wrong with either or any of the Sano's.

Re: brand x minis??

im not sure if you guys have rode a BrandX Minis setup but its auctually really plush. I tested it out on some dirt jumps around my neighborhood and it was nice. 2 weeks later I went to Glen Helen and rode it there, It held up fin i would compare it to the bbr setup( my friend has it). Hopefully it holds up for me in the long run. Im like the shock that it comes with also.

Re: brand x minis??

brand x makes decent solid pieces, but anything mechanical Id leave to the big brands. but the fork legs, skidplates, cradles n such r ok not great but swingers IDK forks I doubt it so Id go classifieds first for that stuff.
