can you bleed stock klx forks? Help?

I painted my stock forks and had them on a hanger for a week up side down to dry. now that i put them back on the forks are extremly stiff. I was thinking that they might have built up air pressure since they were hanging upside down from the axel holes. Has any body ran into this problem. Thanks

did not do any thing to the forks, except for paint. Everything was masked off and i just let them hang upside down by the holes where the axle bolt goes through. I'm in ga and the temperature has gone down but i don't think that would effect it.

The temp going down could have made your fluid thicker which would definetly make them stiffer, but i doubt the temp would change that much in a week where your going to notice that big of a difference
